 Vladiswar Nadishana (Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist), Siberia:

The one-of-a-kind Multi-Instrumentalist, Composer, Producer, Web-Designer, Video-Artist and Dancer creates his own original method in each of these fields of art.

His musical style is a creative synthesis of different musical traditions and modern technologies. It could be described as ethnic fusion, world music, ethno jazz or world fusion.

Nadishana plays brilliant on more than 100 instruments of the world (including self-build creations) with a style he developed by himself. He also created a method of advanced digital editing (sound micro-surgery)

Tobias Fleischer (Eectric Bass, Fretless Bass, Double Bass):


The versatile bass-player Tobias Fleischer feels at home in several musical fields as the Gypsy-Swing Trio "Absinti", a Duo with Persian singer Sahrin Rezal and Fusion Concerts with Sextett or Quartett.

During his studies in Liverpool he toured and recorded with the contemporary Flamenco Ensemble "El Nombre" and the multi-national formations "Revolution Latina" and "Sweetmonk" in the UK, Wales, France, Germany and Spain. Festival gigs at Brafford Mela, Session Fawr, Feria de Bellavista, for the Cervantes Institute and on BBC Radio.

His playing on 5- and 6-string Bass and his innovative use of delay effects is highly unique.

Oori Shalev (tabla, percussion), Israel:


Musician and multimedia artist. Combines sensitive improvisation with digital machinery. Plays indian, mid-eastern and western percussions.
Works include, as composer: "to Sing a Forest" (2007, Amelia Cuni, Seth Josel, Junko Wada). Installations:
Baumberauschen (Berlin 2007), Sotavento (2006 Mexico,Italy,Germany). Percussionist: Anat Tuvia (2006 Morgenland festival),4th Race (2007, Musicastrada Italy). Drummer: Tabula rasa, avant-free jazz trio, Israel 1998-02. Nigun Atik, Modern Jewish Quintet, Israel 2001-02. Russian Free Jazz Festival, with Michael Agre and
Sergey Letov, Tel-Aviv 2002. Drummer in the free improvisation scene in Houston (Sep. 03 "Shrill" , Dec. 03 Sound Piece (P. Oliveros).
Co-founder of "the-Tilt" arts and technology group (Berlin, 2006/7) Develops hardware and software for real-time sonic interaction (handController, glovesController, tree
movement sensors via the internet and various max/msp sound processing applications)

David is actually belong to our USA line-up because he resides in New York now.

 

David Kuckhermann (Percussion), Germany:


David is a pioneer in the field of hand- and fingerdrumming. After studying with teachers such as Glen Velez, Behnam Samani, Ramesh Shotham and Ustad Fayaz Khan he created his personal style, incorporating techniques and rhythms from the handdrumming traditions of Iran, India, Egypt, Europe, Turkey and Africa.


He worked with Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Dead Can Dance, Levent, the medieval music ensemble Cordatum and in contemporary music together with Helmut Bieler-Wendt and the Taner Akyol Trio.


David has toured in Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Italy, France, Poland, Estonia, Ireland and the USA. In 2006 he released the first two DVDss of series of instructional DVDs on hand- and fingerdrumming.
